I have to say that the idea behind wikiCalc is just plain cool. This is the kinda thing that once you hear about it, you ask yourself, “Why didn’t I think of that?”
2 questions…
1) Where is the sandbox?
2) Can you import .ods and .xls files?
I wish them luck!
Subversion is now an option at Sourceforge. Info can be found here. I’ve never really liked cvs so this is great news for me. The chance of me contributing to a project hosted there is now about 1000 times greater.
I know this is old, but if you haven’t read it, you must. This guy nails it on the head. If you have ever said the words “web-two-oh “and “ajax” in the same sentence, I worry you have been carried away. Reading the above link will guide back to earth.

So keep it simple, and ship it before they do, and maintain your sense of humor whether you get rich or go broke. Especially if you get rich. Nothing is more unsightly than a solemn multi-millionaire.
There is a cool video of the new Digg comment system. It really does look SLICK. Now it will be so much easier make comments like:
Really, Digg could be cool, but the level of discussion is like 12 year-old wannabe chatter. Every now-and-again there is an insightful comment but that hardly makes it worth the time. I haven’t bothered to register a user account there so I don’t really know what options there are to make things less dumb. The point is, that the default page (the face the world sees) is just juvenile. Maybe when Web 2.5 is out things will have improved ;)
